At Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, we believe in educating the whole child. We believe in instilling Catholic values in all students to then carry into the world. In 21st century, this includes all digital media. It is important to keep students safe and responsible online. As a part of the technology curriculum, all K4-8th grade students are taught using Common Sense Digital Citizen lesson which correlate with the ISTE (21st Century Skills) curriculum. Topics include digital footprint, design thinking, creative rights, cyberbullying, and evaluating apps and websites. We hope to instill this knowledge for our students as they grow up in a world where digital media is at their fingertips.
At Blessed Sacrament, we focus on Computer Science Skills using the Code.org curriculum. We also provide other opportunities for students to become involved through Code Clubs. Click on the links below to learn more about those resources.
