I grew up and reside in Waukesa, WI. I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with a BS in Elementary Education. My family includes my wife, Kristine, two sons, Raymond and Atticus, and our dogs, Dora and Riley. I enjoy carpentry, golf, movies, and playing at the lake.
Educational Philosophy
I believe that it is a teacher's responsibility to be a "guiding light" for their students. A teacher must support each student during their struggles while fostering positive relationships with all students. Students need to know that their teacher cares about them during both failures and successes. Education is not only about academic success in the classroom, but more importantly it is their success in the real world.
Why do you teach at Blessed Sacrament?
As a baptized, practicing Catholic who has strong roots in the foundations of Catholic education. I have had the privilege to have taught fifth grade for 15 years in a Catholic school. Being a graduate of two Catholic institutions, I understand the importance of God’s call. Serving the church community as a teacher, mass server, hospitality minister, and Eucharistic minister has allowed me to share my faith with everyone I meet. I teach at Blessed Sacrament because it is what God has called me to do and when God calls it is important to answer his call.
