Joe, who is also a graduate of Blessed Sacrament, has been playing the organ since he was in fifth grade. In the seventh grade he became a regular organist here at Blessed Sacrament, under the direction of Rhoda Skalecki, where he played until he moved to California.
While living in Reedsburg, Joe was the music & choir director at Reedsburg United Methodist Church. At the same time he was also the organist at Sacred Heart Catholic Church as well as a substitute at St John Lutheran. He was in such demand that he at one point had a key to nearly every church in Reedsburg.
In addition to the organ and piano, Joe plays flute, violin, oboe, guitar, saxophone, accordion, gives music lessons for several of those instruments, and offers vocal lessons.
In his spare time he also plays the theater organ at the Al Ringling Theater in Baraboo and the Landmark Oriental Theater in Milwaukee, which houses the second largest theater pipe organ in the world.
Please take a moment to welcome Joe to the Blessed Sacrament family!
