Our Advent project again this year will be collecting presents for needy families in our community for the Capuchin’s House of Peace.
The presents collected will be distributed to approximately five hundred households that request Christmas Holiday Gift Boxes from the Capuchin's. The families usually include 2 - 3 children each. The House of Peace is seeking gifts of new, unwrapped toys for children (ages birth to 10 years of age), both boys and girls.
Some suggested items include: Playdoh sets, Hot Wheel cars and trucks, coloring sets and easels, action figures, character stuffed plush animals, Etch-A-Sketches, basketballs, footballs, baseballs, soccer balls, and children’s books. We will be collecting items through Sunday, December 16th.
Please bring the gifts to Mass with you and place them under the Giving Tree located on the east side of the church.
