May 28, 2019I am your new hall manager, Beth E. Graf - a local south sider all my life - a Blessed Sacrament Parishioner attending for over 4 years and a Jackson Park homeowner living off 39th and Oklahoma since 1992. I started “My Family Roots Catering and Event Planning LLC” in September of 2018, procuring my Servsafe Managers Certification for Restaurant and Catering in Wisconsin, successfully completing UW Small Business Development courses and writing my UW Entrepreneurial Business Plan and Business Development in the past year. Prior to starting my own business, I worked in manufacturing in Milwaukee industries for over 35 years. I procured a Global Exemplar certification from ASQ - global headquarters for Quality Standards located right here in Milwaukee. I have an extensive background in QA/QC and SOP writing, managing and training all demographics in these business from tanneries to chemical companies. My husband, Dennis J., and his sister Sandra are cradle Catholics who attended St. Lawrence Parish from 1956 through the 60’s. Many of you may know her husband - Deacon Stan Lowe. I have two children - Amanda who lives in LaCrosse with her husband, Keonte, and Christian who blessed us with our 11 year old granddaughter, Roxy. She will be attending St. Augustine’s in the fall and she loves engineering. I enjoy planning and catering party events - see my parish bulletin ad. I love volunteering at church and local Urban Ecology Centers and spend time taking care of my mother, Ida, and her retirement home in the Lake Tomahawk area.
